Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesday | BooksAndABeat.com

Hey guys, so I was wandering around the world of wordpress blogs, and found weekly meme called Teaser Tuesday, hosted by Books and a Beat. The book I will be using, is The Coldest Girl in Coldtown, which I will be doing a book review on as soon as I finish it. (Therefore I am currently just using a B&N summary.)

The Coldest Girl in Coldtown

Anybody can do this themselves, here are the instructions:

  1. Pick up the book you’re currently reading
  2. Open it to any random page
  3. Share two “teaser” sentences from that page (No spoilers!)
  4. Share the title and author as well, for others to add your book to their TBR
  5. Put this in either a blog post or the comment section down below

My Teasers:

“Those who are beloved of Death will not die.” Page 72, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

“”If you go to Coldtown,” she said, hoping to change the subject, “you won’t be able to get out.”” Page 72, The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black

The Barnes & Noble Summary:

Tana lives in a world where walled cities called Coldtowns exist. In them, quarantined monsters and humans mingle in a decadently bloody mix of predator and prey. The only problem is, once you pass through Coldtown’s gates, you can never leave.

One morning, after a perfectly ordinary party, Tana wakes up surrounded by corpses. The only other survivors of this massacre are her exasperatingly endearing ex-boyfriend, infected and on the edge, and a mysterious boy burdened with a terrible secret. Shaken and determined, Tana enters a race against the clock to save the three of them the only way she knows how: by going straight to the wicked, opulent heart of Coldtown itself.

Sound interesting? Check out the first few chapters of it online, here.

Also, I’ve been considering adding a TBR page to my blog, what do you guys think? Well, thanks for checking out this post, I hope you will do this Teaser Tuesday as well!
