What’s Your Favorite Book?

This feels like a lazy post, but it’s really just my curiosity getting the better of me…I’m very eager to know what everyone’s favorite book is. I have so many books on my TBR that the question feels ridiculous, but I want to pick a book that’s 100% worth reading.

Image result for we were liarsMy favorite book is currently We Were Liars by E. Lockhart, because I fell in love with the characters and the plot was drawn together ever so precisely that the result was artwork, but I believe it had its flaws.

I know there’s the perfect book for me out there (“there are plenty of fish in the sea!” haha), but I’ve been searching for a book that’s clever, poetic, and as jaw dropping like this one was.

Please comment your favorite book below! Maybe it’ll become my favorite too! (then we can fangirl about it TOGETHER😆😂)

  1. What a question! The best I can do is narrow it down to three:
    – A Conjuring of Light (Shades of Magic book 3) by V. E. Schwab
    – Ship of Destiny (The Liveship Traders book 3) by Robin Hobb
    – The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

And even narrowing it down to three was so painful! I feel like a traitor for not mentioning my other favourites.

    • Haha, thank you for commenting! I’ve been contemplating reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but I will definitely read it soon! Also, I’ve heard AMAZING things about the Shades of Magic series (I think I’m going to order them ;))

  2. I love We Were Liars too, it’s such a great book. My all time favourite book is Eleanor and Park. It’s really dark but there are some cute romantic scenes in it too😊

    • Nice! I think it’s pretty bad I’ve never read Rainbow Rowell before…Well I did start Carry On, but people were telling me to read Fangirl first, and that they didn’t enjoy Carry On as much, so I put it aside. Eleanor and Park seems like an really amazing book.

  3. I’ve heard great things about We Were Liars- I’m glad to hear it’s your favorite! It might have just been pushed up higher on my TBR. My favorite series right now is the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J Maas. I just started it and I’m loving binge-reading it. Other than that, I’d really recommend The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. It just came out, and it’s emotional as hell, but so impactful too.

    • Yay! I just bought A Court of Thorn and Roses on my phone (iBooks) so I plan on reading that one pretty soon…after I finish I hope the series was good enough to make me read her other books! (Probably haha) I bought The Hate U Give for my friends bday, and I definitely plan on buying a copy for myself, especially after she told me how much she loved it.

    • The cover of that book is really pretty! (I just googled it haha) I have a few friends who are major fans of Laini Taylor’s other books, especially A Daughter of Smoke and Bone series. I am really looking forward to reading this book, thank you for recommending it!

  4. My favorite YA novel at the moment is (*desperately scans bookshelves*) Book Scavenger, by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman. It has adventure, it has wonderful characters and setting, and it’s just very very well written. Hope that helps!😊
(By the way, when picking, I didn’t pick either series or classics because I’m pretty sure you weren’t wanting a response of “Harry Potter” or “Little Women,” haha!)😉

  5. My favourite will be………….. Argh! So hard to choose just one! But Matilda by Roald Dahl or the first Harry Potter book will be nice…
    God Bless You!!!

  6. Nice post!

My favourite books are divided up by categories, but here are my three most favourite books:
    1. The Ranger’s Apprentice by John Flanagan
    2. The Giver by Louis Lowry
    3. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Aaaaand many many more. 🙂 (Totally agree with the post’s first words in blue, btw. ;))

  7. Oh wow, this is a question I can never answer certainly because I just love so many books. There is no way I can pick a favorite. Other than the Harry Potter series (which will forever remain my favorite books), I would say Six of Crows, Ender’s Game and The Darkest Minds. And my favorite classics are Pride and Prejudice and the Anne of Green Gables series.

We Were Liars is a great book!

  8. I favorite at the moment is A Darker Shade of Magic because I ended up buying the whole series, and only because of one character, Lila Bard 🙂 I still have yet to read your pick 🙂

  9. This is really hard… I will say “Wuthering Heights” by Emily Brontë. It’s definitely one of my favorites, if not my favorite of all time. I don’t know if you’ll enjoy it but I definitely recommend it if you like gothic or historical romance. Beware, though – it’s not a happy book and contains a very unhealthy relationship!
I haven’t read We Were Liars yet but I’m pretty sure it’s on my TBR 🙂

  10. Hmmm… Does A Tale for the Time Being by Ruth Ozeki count? No, wait, I have recently totally fell in love with Haruki Murakami’s writing. I’m totally into surrealistic and imaginative type of writing and his works have taken that to a whole other level! 🙂 Kafka on the Shore is my personal favorite.
